Rochester High School has officially completed its first week of the 2026–2027 school year, and the halls are once again filled with students, laughter, learning, and plenty of Warrior Pride!

The week began by welcoming the Class of 2030 to Rochester High School. Our freshman students had the opportunity to start the year on their own, giving them time to become familiar with the building, meet staff members, learn routines, connect with classmates, and begin discovering what it means to be a Rochester Warrior.

The following day, the rest of our students joined the freshman class as we officially kicked off another school year together. The first few days have been a tremendous success, with friends reconnecting after summer break, teachers welcoming students back into their classrooms, and Rochester pride running through the halls.

Today, students capped off the first week with our first spirit assembly of the school year. The entire student body came together to recognize and celebrate our fall sports teams while participating in fun competitions and activities. The assembly provided a great opportunity to build school spirit, strengthen connections, and celebrate the students who represent Rochester High School both in the classroom and through athletics and activities.

The excitement continues tonight as the Warriors take the field for their first home football game of the season at 7:00 p.m. Fans are encouraged to show their school and community spirit by participating in tonight’s Red, White, and Blue theme.

Before kickoff, RHS FFA will be serving free hot dogs beginning at 5:30 p.m., while supplies last. We invite our families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to come out, enjoy some food, fill the stands, and cheer on our Warriors!

We are grateful for the energy and enthusiasm our students and staff have brought to these first few days and look forward to everything ahead. It is going to be a great 2026–2027 school year at Rochester High School.
